Biography: Max Pinckers (1988) is a Belgian photographer based in Brussels, whose work is regularly published and exhibited internationally. Between 2008-2012 Pinckers studied at the School of Arts (KASK) in Ghent.  In 2013 his self-published book exploring Bollywood’s relationship to the cultural psyche of India, The Fourth Wall, was shortlisted for the Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation First PhotoBook Award. It also won The City of Levallois Photography Award, as well as being nominated for Best Photo Book of the Year at the 6th International Fotobookfestival in Kassel by Martin Parr.
His forthcoming photobook Will They Sing Like Raindrops or Leave Me Thirsty is the result of an open commission from the Europalia International Arts Festival.
